A paid judgment and a lien that isnt mine is being reported by a credit reporting agency as unpaid and unsatisfied. I'm going to sue them for $300,000.00.
Does anyone know a lawyer in California who will take my case?
thanks

So I'm assuming you've already disputed with the data furnisher, right? Also...did you make sure the judgment was recorded as satisfied?

If you did already dispute with data furnisher (probably lexis nexis or westlaw) , then look for an attorney on naca.net

You won't find a lawyer who will take your case unless you pay him upfront, and even then he might not take it. Why not ? Simply because your chances of prevailing here for the amount of money you want are close to nil.

Have you provided proof to the agency that the reported debt is not yours ?
