Yes it does. The green are not bitter or anything but their not sweet like the yellow or red or orange peppers. The yellow and red bell peppers (I'm assuming your talking about the Bell Peppers) are sweet. The Orange one's are very very sweet, and yellow are sweet but but not quite as sweet as the Orange, and the red I think are the sweetest of them all. Their really good just sliced up and eat them raw - yummy.

Assuming you are refering only to Bell Peppers, then yes. Red pepper are slightly sweeter than green peppers. Yellow pepers are much sweeter than either greens or reds. Orange peppers are between yellows and reds. Also, the sweeter the pepper, the more mellow the taste.

Yes. If you're talking about green bell peppers, they're a little bit on the bitter side, while red and yellow bell peppers are more on the sweet side.
Green chili peppers tend to be hotter than red or yellow chili peppers.

Green peppers are literally "green"--that is to say, if you have a plant full of green peppers and you leave them on the vine, they will turn red, yellow or orange. The colored peppers are ripened and, as a result, they are sweeter and have less "bite" than a green pepper. Colored peppers also have a shorter storage life, because they are further along in the life cycle of the edible seed pod.

Red are a bit sweeter (they are ripe green peppers). The yellow I don't find any different than the green.

Yes, they definitely have different tastes. Hard to describe the difference, but the green ones are stronger flavor, the red and yellow are milder and sweeter.

Yes they do taste different, the yellow ones taste a bit sweet, the red ones are a little hot. They add color and flavor to just about any dish, I like to add them to fajitas, or pastas.
