Spray paint and fabric will be your best items. You can paint thrift store furniture, cover seat cushions, make wall art with the fabric, curtains, canapy a bed or daybed,You can find material on clearance at fabric stores for as little as $1 a yard or netting cheaper than that. You do not have to know how to sew. You can use rubber bands to gather the ends of drapes or staple the hem or glue it.You can staple the fabric to the inside top of windows if you do not have rods.Or use hooks like you hang clothes on in the bathroom to drape the fabric.I used the plastic rings from 6-paks to hang curtains and just thumbtacked the plastic to the wall.Take coordinating or contrasting fabric and staple it to cheap frames or cover poster board with the fabric. Either way will make color pop from the walls. If you find a decent couch but it is stained, you can paint it! Mix acrylic with fabric medium and it will adhere to the couch.Go over it when it is thoroughly dry with a water based varnish for better wear.I would be afraid to use spray paint on seating becasue it would rub off on clothing. You can also 'sometimes" get free mixed paint at paint stores that someone had mixed but never picked it up.If it is the wrong color you can pay a small fee to have color added to it and have it shaken for you.You can get paint, material, furniture in alleys, garage sales, people's attics and basements if you just ask.If you find a red, white, or blk sofa or chair slipcover or a bedspread(new or used)that you need, you can add ribbon, trims,or geometrical shapes from fabric scrapes to make it just right.Just glue the shapes or trim on with a glue like the brand I really like"OK to Wash It" glue.I use it on clothing and dolls for my grandkids and it stays through enough washings that they usually outgrow it instead of it coming apart! You can make a canapy with the 6-pak rings.Just tack the rings above the corners of the bed or over the headboard, according to what style you like, and drape light weight material or netting through the rings.Best wishes with your decorating.Remember that no one sees the underside of your curtains or furniture!Your friends will think you are so creative when they see your new place.

If you want to save money, check out thrift stores and cheap sales, and simply repaint things instead of buying brand new... or looking too hard and wasting time. Accent walls are cool too because you won't have to paint as much, and it adds a sense of decor to the room.

Do you have furniture?
Choose all accessories in red, black [ iron? ] and white.
Buy all large accessories such as curtains, rugs, pillows, and lamps; and all small such as picture frames, candles, vases, and ornaments in these colors and perhaps one metal, such as brass or pewter.
Then you can re-arrange, move to a different room, or to a new home with stuff that still coordinates.
You could do the LR in red, black, white and a little gold; the
kitchen in white, red, black, and a little gold; and the bedroom in black, white, red, and a little gold. Match the bathroom to the bedroom or LR.

check out yard sales and thrift store but try to use things you already have, but those colors will look great together, i think black and red curtians would look real funky and neat you could make them yourself. do either polka dots or maybe even checkers maybe leave a little shred on them it will help it look funky.

the biggest t thing is to keep an open mind. Go to dollar stores, thrit stores and salvage yards. they always have good stuff that's what people now called character. And anything can be primed and painted to fit your color scheme. Happy hunting.

I would rethink those colors. It's hard to coordinate furniture with them.

Maybe red white and brown? A lot of furniture is brown. I'm just saying...
