They have their own government and don't wish to be part of China. They have that right, don't they? Should England belong to France just because it floats offshore?

I'm in Taiwan,
and people here wants to be an independent country.
While China is saying that we are theirs.
As for whether Taiwan is independent or China's,
it depends on which pionts of view you are having,
there's no right or wrong.

Taiwan province is a part of China, because the official title is still "Republic of China."

and I disagree with cherry, how dare she say "people here," how many people can she represent? what she thinks can only represent herself.

there are lots of people in taiwan province think that they are true chinese
