I'm not sure on this one we all vary but is it rude to not wear a bra at night when you're in a dorm of other females?

Shouldn't be any problem as long as you still wear a top. Going braless shouldn't be such a big deal anyhow although it does depend on how much you have. I've been braless since college but then I don't have much, would have AAAA or something if I were to buy one. I have never had a comment about it or seen anyone stare at me or anything, even when I run there's not much moving.

At a college dorm you should be able to get comfortable even if you have more; it's your home for a good part of the year.

As long as you still have your clothes on, no one should complain!

Since you are living in an all female dorms, they should understand that it's not comfortable wearing a bra at night. I'm sure you're not the only one not wearing it.

suzu IS attempting to grow up. don't act like you came with a book of instructions. most of us are happy to answer questions on this forum, sometimes people don't have others to ask!

suzu, the post mentioning the built in bras was right on! i personally will not go without a bra (unless it's bedtime) but i'm a little on the conservative side. do whatever you feel comfortable with. perhaps where the bra at first and take your cues from the other girls. that's the only way to judge whether it will be socially acceptable with the group you're in.

It's not rude to not wear a bra... Or any other underwear either.
As long as the person is comfortable not wearing a bra, it's not anyone else's business if she does or not.
Bras are not etiquette issues.

If you don't feel comfortable without one around other people, then wear it until just before you climb into bed.
If I were you I would get some tank-tops with built in bras, then you can feel comfortable socially and physically.

no it is not rude if you dont wear a bra at night as long as your 'girls' arent exposed who cares. if you are concerned about it wear a sports bra or fitted cami with a shelf bra in it to keep the girls comfy. your girls gotta breathe at night though so once your in bed take the damn bra off.

no not at all. you are all females. you all have the same floppies. Bra's cut into me and I can't sleep. Maybe your friend feels the same way. Now they need to have a shirt on, but other then that grow up.

I'd go "braless" night AND day if it suited me. It's about my comfort.

I would guess it wouldn't matter unless you have someone who is interested in female breasts.
