Demonic oppression and possession is indeed real today. Look at all the crimes today, surely some of the people are controlled by something other than their natural self. Mark 16:17 is an assured account of possession.

You know, almost every group in every part of the world has believed in demonic possession. Christians are johnny-come-latelys when it comes to that.
Really, I'd think you'd have to give me an idea what a demon is before I could say whether I believe it occurs today. Are you talking about a Christian or another kind of demon, because they all are different?

Yes I do, and I've contributed in helping some people get deliverance from some through intersession (spiritual fight standing in the gap between a demon and a person spiritually binded)

That's actually the role of demons: to opress, and some times posess.

Addition:
Well I wouldn't be a christian if I didn't because a huge part of Christ's ministry was delivering people from demons, opressions etc. He was even tempted by satan himself...

YES! ! ! !
I've seen people be delivered from demonic oppression and I've heard a demon speak through a person....and the only way they were delivered was by the power of the Holy Spirit...and by the grace of God....

I've witnessed a total of 6 demonic deliverances and experiences in my life.

IF JESUS SAYS THERE ARE DEMONS, THERE ARE DEMONS!! I don't believe in all this multiple personality, schizophrenic, bi polar disorder stuff. The Bible doesn't say anything about that. There are demons, and evil spirits. They are satan's minions who roam the earth and possess people's bodies. Someone has to do his dirty work. There has been demon possession in my own family. You know it when you see it, if you walk with the Lord.
God gives us a descerning heart. We need to use it, and put on the whole armor of God, in defense. The devil is roaming around on the earth, waiting to devour! Keep watch! They like to bother Christians!

I believe the posession and oppression are still around today. How else could you explain Mom's murdering their babies, mass killings and suicides. There are stories and even tapes of this type of thing(oppression and posession) but you don't see it in the media. This type of thing is considered scary to those who don't understand the Bible. Ray Comfort even has an audio clip of a woman who was involved in Satanism who is posessed by a demon.

Yes I truly believe it.That's why there is so much sin in the world today, people are messing around with evil spirits and of evil things in this world and how else would Satan's demons attack,by the mind and spirit of the lost people in this world. Its a very sad thing, all you can do is pray for them and love them, cuz believe it or not God loves them too, even if they are lost in Satan's trap.

Yes i believe that demonic action is still "alive" today. We have the power in the name of Jesus and the Holy Spirit as believers to stop the oppression and possession of demons. It's not as much so here in the US but in other countries. However, sometimes demons aren't really as visible as people expect. This one man that i have met were in another country and he was in his bed and a demon he had cast out, had went into his room. his bed started to shake the curtains stood up on edge and a foul stink came in the room. The bed move and the man said, "hey devil i recognize didn't i cast you out of that guy today? i command you to leave me this instance" the demon left and then the man said, " hey devil come back here, my bed was on that wall when you came in here i want it back!" so the foul smell came back the curtains stoo back up and the bed started to shake and it went to the wall that it was on. then the demon left him. i say demonic action still exists!

Yes I believe it still happens. Why would the demons give up now? I have seen it many times in my life. Pray in Jesus name for it to be gone.
