Doesn't it seem like people have been searching for "god" forever? When will the hunt over?

Don't you think we can draw a reasonable conclusion after all of our fruitless efforts...? Sincerely, when is enough, enough?

I don't really think it will ever be enough. There are so many people who have such strong beliefs, that they will search forever and ever. Maybe because they believe so strongly that they need affirmation that there really is something there?

Why are you wondering, then? Why bother getting on the "religion" part of this site? It intrigues you that people have found some thing they feel is tangible, and you haven't, is that it? Others are sharing "God stuff", and your feeling left out? You just wish every one would stop saying there's a God, so you can be considered correct? Sorry, aint gonna happen.

i doubt people will be searching for a god forever. There are more books and easy access to all sorts of info now than ever before.
As ancient gods and goddesses were outgrown, so will the current ones eventually be. But with all the info we have, maybe we'll come up with something other than a magical unexplained entity in the sky :)

Man does not know, yet he is not fully ignorant. He is stuck between two realities, one of Truth, and the other of ignorance. One could say that the search for truth was futile. Or, one could say that the enjoyment of truth was never ending. For those who see, the Lord is already here.

I've stopped my search. I live my life to the best of my abilities. I don't need a god to teach me how to be good. I know how.

I gave up that search along time ago. I have learned to place my faith in the spiritual and most importantly with myself.

When they find God, it's enough.
But then, there's telling everyone else where they found Him, and that accounts for the rest of their life (or at least it should).

Let people search. It's up to them to call it off, not you.

It will continue until people find out (for certain) where man came from.
