yeap its godlessness. it is more than rampant in these last days.

in singapore, where i am, they actually have sex clubs where couples go in and exchange their girlfriends or boyfriends with each other for a few hours.

sick ain't it?

go on and preach about atheism and godlessness, and see your children succumbing to morality decadence.

Sign of a moral decline. No right or wrong anymore. I watched a PBS show on the 60's the other night and that's where I'd trace this to. 40-50 years later and massive amounts of disease and death and they still revel in their freedom. There a price to pay. And I'm not talking about spiritually. To each their own. But it sure is costing us a bunch of money. How many billions in AIDS research alone so far?

Ahhhhh - the 60's ....now THAT was some rampant sexuality!!!!

Godless? Maybe-the last time I checked, there wasn't a law in place demanding that you swear allegiance to God before you made love, had sex, or whatever.

Or maybe it is a delightful expression of our life force, and should be honored as such. Hell yes it's freedom, and there is nothing wrong with freedom!

Human beings are sexual creatures.

Equating all sexuality with Godlessness takes hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy: 1. a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess.
2. a pretense of having some desirable or publicly approved attitude.
3. an act or instance of hypocrisy.

Why does someone else's value system automatically signal "godlessness" to those who are religious and intolerant:?

Seriously, lighten up. We live in a society that values freedom of behavior. Not all of those behaviors will be appealing to one person.

As the porn industry is based on the mutual consent of adults, I see no problem with it. I don't partake of it myself, but why should I label the millions who do?

Godlessness. Just because you are free to do something that does not mean it is beneficial for you. God's laws are not here to put a cramp in your style. They are there to keep us out of trouble and give us peace of mind. And you can take that to the bank.

This country has one of highest rates of belief in god in the world. That fact alone destroys your silly, poorly-thought-out hypothesis. Besides, there are plenty of examples of priests sexually violating children. If that's what you want to see more of, feel free to spread your religion to the non-believers.

Freedom of what some want to do.

And it's UN-Godlessness.

If some girls want to strap a bed to their back, that's their choice.

If some guys want to be the LAST person on EARTH to have a specific girl, that's their choice to let 3 billion MEN go first!

2007-06-06 15:49:12 · answer #8 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Neither. It's an acknowledgment of the fact that sexuality takes places, which did not happen much before sexual practices became a phenomenon of study in the 1950s. It's always been there; it's just that, nowadays, we actually talk about it.

Porn?? It's clearly about money. In our capitalist society, some people are willing to do anything for money...particularly when it is coupled with some ill-informed, degraded notion of power or fame. Those of us who very regularly view the stuff are perhaps lonely; emotionally void in some way? There is probably a lot of confused misdirected emotional desire associated it. Sexual pleasure misplaced for some unfulfilled emotional need.

2 Timothy 3:1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
