First of all, what do you mean by "hear from God"?
God has revealed himself to us in His Word, and I, as a Christian, do not pray to God expecting some BOOMING voice to come out of heaven and tell me the future or something. Our responce to prayer is already written in a Book. Exactly how we should live our daily lives is all there. And by this I dont mean, "Turn left on 34th St. Now, you will see a man who will ask you for change...." What IS written there is how we should ethically and morally live our lives, and what our pupose on the world is.

Too many people go to Christianity looking for a religeous "experience"; some euphoria caused worshiping God, not the answer to the purpose and meaning of life, which is what it is.

Part of being a Christian is praying, or talking, to God. I would venture to guess that ALL Christians talk to God.

Have I ever heard from God? Sure have... when I survived a horrible car accident, when I got through a tough time, when I got enough courage to do something I had to do... God speaks to us in manners other than his voice....

The Bible states that He hears our prayers before we even pray...so it saves time not having pray.....Just kidding

It actually implies that we do need to pray...It's funny,I have noticed, that if we are silent,God is also silent...I believe that in the book of James it says..."You have not, because you ask not...(I will omit the rest,as it is negative and not germain to this point)....We need to also TALK to God,as a friend, apart from Worship,Petitions and praise....Just as a good buddy.

He responds in many different ways. And always remembers the details...even when we forget.

I talk to God throughout every day.
And God also talks to me...
Oh, not in the way of "hearing voices"...although there have been times I could have sworn I actually heard Him speak t ome...but more a mental communication.
I guess it's difficult to describe, but I am pretty sure you know what I mean...

I have heard from God by voice twice and in a dream God and Satan wrestled for control of my inner anger.

To tell you who won, I woke up with soo much peace. God did not sweat, grunt, or flinch. The out come was a pile of jelly with no bone structure to hold satan vertical. He melted into a pile of goo that screamed and moaned as he went away. God did not have a single piece of Golden hair out of place.

I pray to God every day. I hear from God through reading the bible, sermons and other spirit filled Christians.

I have heard from God. God lives inside of you via the holy spirit and there have been times where I have heard him speak. I felt it in my soul and I know it was him. He knows when you need to hear directly from him, but a lot of times he will speak to us through others. God communicates in ways that we may not notice so its important to pray for him to put his will clear before your face. Always seek his will, leaving your own behind and we will speak. He speaks to you everyday.

without my noticing God helps me everyday. i mean the sun rose today, that is a miracle only he can do. it happens everyday yea but he does it everyday too. oh the things we take for granted. and if i have the chance to talk to the creator of the world i am gonna take it. somehow we get so distracted that we don't realize we always have that chance, but we are too foolish and later regret it. i try every chance i get...tho not often enough do i actually pray, but when something comes to mind...like saying "hey God that was pretty amazing what you did today!" i often talk to God, however actual formal prayer i try to do that regularly.

It's called prayer and every Christian should pray. I hear from God often, but not in an audible voice.
