2) Your in 6th freakin grade why do you need a relationship? I mean it's not going to go anywhere.

You are too young because either a guy or girl won't take the relationship seriously enough or too seriously. Also the ultimate purpose of dating is to find the "one" and have a wedding and a baby shower. (haha) In 6th grade you a bit far from marrige and sex (i hope). So all dating becomes is a destraction from school. I hate to be the fun sucker and tell you this, but this my understanding of why you are too young to date at 6th grade.

yes, I do think "dating" is not ok at 6th grade. However, that is not what this sounds like. A phone call and a wave hi and hanging out together at school is not dating. However, I would not question your parents actions. They know more about the situation than we do.

your super stupid to be "dating" in the 6th grade you cant drive you have little or no money so are are you doing for dates lol. And plus men that are 30 cant figure out women so how can a 6th grader do it and if you a girl then our more crazy too be dating in the 6th grade.

grade 6 is ten yrs old. Some cultures think the age is not too young for learning how to be a soldier, or to work at a factory.
Dating? I guess you dont have enough assignments, or sports.Yes I think its too young myself. What is the right age for dating?
WHen you have a job, your own house, a college degree, your own money. "Young" is when you are still living off someone, like one or both parents.

the problem is your parents think your growing up to fast and think that you will be spending less time with them if you start dating and are scared that you will give love to them instead of to them. or they just genuinely think that a 6th grade child shouldn't have a girlfriend because they might want to experiment.

wait untill 8th grade at least!! geez you have your whole life to find somebody and its not like your going to find the person your going to marry in 6th grade. You can like someone but dont need to date in 6th grade your to young your 11 or 12 years old.

Because you know nothing about relationships, and most people consider sex much more strongly when in a relationship and you are much too young to even be thinking about sex.

Old enough to drive? Old enough to get a job? = Old enough to go on a date and pay with your own money...
