I am a huge fan of the olf F-150, but for a newer truck, I'd buy the Nissan Titan

my favorite would be the DOdge Cummins,
...but I can't afford one, so I drive a Ford Powerstroke. If you do get a Ford Powerstroke, stick with the 7.3L it has less problems than the other 2 fFord has made (plus it has been around longer)
Never really delt with Chevy much, heard there Deilse isn't as good, but don't know...
If you don't want a diesel, I'd still stick with Dodge then Ford and don't get less than a 3/4 ton if you ever plan to get a trailer or haul with it...
if you just want a truck for the sake of having a truck and will mostly just tool 'round town, any compact truck will do...Nissan, Toyota,...

I would definitely look into the 2007 Toyota Tundra Double Cab. It was reclining back seats and so much space inside. It's also a great vehicle that won't give you a lot of problems like a Ford will.

Ford rangers are very reliable, and the most fuel efficient truck out there right now, just know there isnt much cargo room. It'd be my choice if I needed a new truck.

In Texas it is the Ford F150, but the Tundra double cab my brother-in-law uses, is great.
