Jesus never said anything about it, so when people ask about Homosexuality they are pointed toward Leviticus, but don't Christians not follow the Old Testament Laws? So is that law applicable any more if none of the other Old Testament laws should be followed? Or is that an "exception"?

Are you serious?

Try this excerpt from the w96 7/1 article, How Does God View Christendom's Worship. This paragraph should help you understand.

"Some clergymen argue in favor of homosexuality, claiming that Jesus never spoke against it. But is that really so? Jesus Christ declared that God’s Word is truth. (John 17:17) That means that he endorsed God’s view of homosexuality as described at Leviticus 18:22, which reads: “You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.” Moreover, Jesus listed fornication and adultery among the “wicked things [that] issue forth from within and defile a man.” (Mark 7:21-23) The Greek word for fornication is a broader term than that for adultery. It describes all forms of sexual relations outside lawful marriage, including homosexuality. (Jude 7) Jesus Christ also warned his followers not to tolerate any professed Christian teacher who minimizes the seriousness of fornication.—Revelation 1:1; 2:14, 20."

The Bible does not call homosexuality an abomination, it calls having intercourse with male temple prostitutes (a convention of the religions of different gods) an abomination. The sin is having different gods earlier Yahweh. Nowhere does the two testomony condemn the state of being gay. yet i like the Christian copout that it is not Leviticus they're following, yet passages from the recent testomony. The NT prohibitions are grounded in Leviticus, so as that are condemning homosexuality consistent with a faux impact of Leviticus, then ignoring the different extra beneficial than six hundred commandments that they do unlike. Bur, via fact Christianity immediately is Salad Bar Christianity (even Catholicism - purely inspect the recent "sins" that the Pope invented), what else can absolutely everyone anticipate. The Bible isn't a e book to stay via, it fairly is a e book used to justify doing what human beings decide to do.

Jesus said that he had not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. Some believe that this means that the old laws i (old testament) no longer apply...others of course feel otherwise. To give you a personal reply, I would have to say that the concept of homosexuality (the practice of) is against the purposes that God originally intended for the sexual parts of the body. However, to focus on homosexuality without talking about extra marital or pre-marital sexual relationships is unfair and not according to scriptures. Any sexual activity not confined to husband and wife would be anti-God's purpose I would think, and would be equally wrong. In this instance, I don't think that it is meant to be an actual law...but instead a guideline from God as to our behavior.

Get into a relationship with the opposite sex too. Homosexuality is NOT natural and is extremely dangerous like playing with fire. If anyone you know is homosexual, pray for him or her . Pray the Gay away is so very true. The Muslim religion knows its WRONG, the Jewish religion knows its WRONG, the baptists knows it's WRONG, and so does the Catholic Church too. Then Homosexuality is WRONG. What good are homosexuals also for reproduction? Their homosexual sins are good for nothing. They need to change their way immediately and become heterosexuals again in the eyes of GOD. And all the people said AMEN.

Well as it is the old testament is too gruesome they probably knew that people who never read it shouldn't have the right to know about such state of things. So they translate it into a softer version easy digestible bible. When I think about it what goes on behind someone's closed doors is waaaaaay more important than something of their business and other problems.

Jesus speaks of marriage thusly, "‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife," Mark 10:7. Marriage is a husband and wife, not two men, not two women.

And yes the New Testament speak of homosexuality:

Rom 1:25-27
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator— who is forever praised. Amen. Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion."

1cor 6:9,10 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

we as christians believe that jesus did not come to change the old laws but to fulfill it. we are now under a new covenant, a covenant that allows us to enter into the kingdom of god through faith rather than through our own works. honestly jesus put the apostles in charge of the bible so listen to them, and if he did not adress the issue of homosexuality or any other issue for that matter, it is because it need not be addressed, if there are any other questions that either jesus or the apostles didnt mention, the spirit of god reveals the answer to christains. you may also find scripture in the bible that indirectly tell you what is good for you and bad for you. for example smoking, most christian know its wrong it is not mention in scripture as wrong, being that smokin wasnt even around back then. but the bible tells us the body is the temple of the holy spirit, which means god lives in us when we are saved and where ever god is, must be taken care of. we are to take care of our health because our bodies no longer belong to ourselves but rather to god.

I'm not a Christian, but as per my understanding, it is a sin to have sex outside marriage according to Christine doctrine. And since same-sex marriage is still not legal in many states, homosexual relations would be a sin by default, whether Christ commented on the matter or not.

As for homosexuality itself being a sin, I'm not sure, nor am I concerned.

Do not abandon the Old Testament, many Christians want to claim that Jesus abolished the old laws, he says nowhere he abolishes the old laws (i.e Old Testament), so you have to follow them too if you want to remain a Christian.

But, why would you care if someone was gay, hate to say it, nosy people, that's none of your concern if someone was gay.
Here's a good question - Do gay people bring harm you in any way?
And don't say it hurts Jesus, Jesus does not feel pain - he's dead.
