no you should not its up to him plus with a family $100,000 is not all that much money

You can ask your Dad, but remember once he raises you to be 18 he is not necessarily responsible for paying for your education no matter how much he makes. I'm sure he has $100,000 of bills to go along with that $100,000 salary.

Not necessarially:
1) how much more will you value your education if you have to pay for it yourself rather than have it given to you?
2) College is the start of living as a responsible adult, and part of that responsibility is making your own way in the world, which could include paying your own way through college

if ur dad wants to pay it's ok, u can ask him for some kind a other support like dorm fees or car payments and stuff

dont demand cuz he makes more money!!!!!!!

I would think he would help at least....ask him how your going to pay for college?? I worked while in college and my parents paid for books and stuff,but I made all my partying money

Yes, of course after all u r his offspring or child which ever u prefer. Thats what parents r there for. I would most definetly help my kids out w/o them having to ask me.

that's up to him, my mom makes close to or more than that figure but she said i should never take any loans, so she pays for my tuition and other expenses.

if you actually EARN your own degree on your own merits...then YOU will be happier for it..and you won't feel like such a MOOCH...

let him offer...IF HE IS INTERESTED IN YOUR SUCCESS...HE WILL


where was my dad's brain when it came to SAVING for my education???

I ask that....because both of my kids have savings accts for college...money they won't see till they get to school..
