I had a few drinks at my recent wedding & didn't mean to get drunk. I didn't have too many drinks but it must have been the not drinking water or eating much. It was great but now I can't remember certain parts of the night & worry people might have known. Plus I hate to have "missed" things :(

It was only about the last hour or so of the reception, but I can't forgive myself...

who cares!!!! you had a great time, and when you look at the pictures it will be a surprise!! Weddings are so stressful, emotional, and hectic, most sober people don't remember everything! Get over it! Concentrate on being married

I had a bit too much to drink at my wedding and it wasn't on purpose... It was the strawberries in the champagne! And everyone at your party is always going to be sure YOUR glass is full!

You worry people might have known? I'm fairly certain they knew you were drunk, and I'm sure they didn't judge you for it.
It's not unusual to let loose and put back a few too many in the midst of a celebration, especially a wedding. Long as you don't make a habit of it I think you'll be fine.
About the forgiving yourself, not sure what to tell ya. Lighten up seems harsh, but it feels like the best advice. You 're married, the wedding and reception were obviously a success... shake it off and enjoy your good fortune.

You can't relive the past or undo what was done. Was your wedding/reception videotaped? If so, you could get a pretty good idea of your behavior by watching that. Have you asked your spouse what happened and if anyone made any comments about your behavior? If he/she was drunk too, ask your parents--or his/hers--inlaws can always be relied on to tell you what you've done wrong! If you said or did anything to offend anyone, then you need to call them and apologize, otherwise let it go. It was your wedding, and people will forgive you. Good luck in the future!

It was your wedding. Hopefully someone video taped it so you can see the parts you kind of forgot. But you had fun and that is what counts. My mom always brings up how I wont have time to eat or drink b/c I'll be too busy visiting. I'm like noway, if I'm paying for it I'm going to party!

Ask someone what happened. We've all had those moments where we drank too much, completely by accident. We get caught up in the moment, don't realize we haven't eaten much that day or exactly how strong the bartender made the drinks. It happens to the best of us. Unfortunately for other people, it's hard for them to forget.

I am sure that somewhere along the lines someone will remind you of what happened. Hopefully you didn't do anything to embarassing :)

Next time act responsibly instead of like a high school kid at a keg party.
