NO. If the puppy was coming out of the birth canal, it needs to come out. If the amniotic sac has already broken, the puppy could be suffocating inside the mother. If this puppy dies in the birth canal, it poses a problem for all the additional puppies preparing to be born as well as the mother. Call a vet immedietly to come to your house (a house call will cost more, but will be easier and safer than transporting the mother during labor).

NO! Get your tiny dog to the vets.
No it's not normal for a pup to present it self and then have it go back into th birth canal. It's dangerous for the mother dog and the pup. Especially if the pup has broken the bag and the pup has to be a dry birth. This needs a vets attention.

YES it is normal!
Your dog is afraid of letting it out (like going to the bathroom) so what you need to do is hold onto the baby and slowly help her pull it out, but not too hard or fast because it could cause internal bleeding.
Good luck! I'll keep checking back!

Wouldn't it be faster to just call a vet and have him/her help you over the phone instead of going to Y!A??
