I mean, what's the point of going to defend your country if that is not what you'll be doing?

Your assumptions are wrong... therefore the question is moot.

Defending the country is not the only point of war. IE. WWI, Korean War, Vietnam, Gulf War, etc.

If there were a draft (which there is not because so many are voulunteering right now, recruitment is way up in the last 4 years), then it would be law to join an armed branch of the military. As soon as I got my draft notice, I would join the Navy. (my personal preference)

Of course there would be draft dodgers on principle, but I just wouldn't agree with them.

If I was still of age? I would do just as I did before during the Cold War. I was willing to fight for my country when I could die just in 6 seconds from a nuclear attack. You don't think I would fight an enemy that i could find and spread the Democracy that is the foundation in establishing our personal freedoms and yours!...I wouldn't hesitate to get to the induction center!

I'd either leave or enlist for the most professional unit I could find.

I'd rather be stuck fighting next to Rangers or Marines than some morons who just want to get out.

I guess you wouldn't have a choice if it was a draft, would you? But it's pretty clear how you feel if a draft were implemented! LOL .... don't worry - I think we're a while from a draft if ever .... unless, of course, we get into it with China! LOL

1. if there was a draft, it would be because the democrats want it. They seem to be the ones that keep bringing it up.
2. yes, I would go and fight for the defense of my country.

Terrorism is not something that you can pretend does not exist.

I would only fight for something that is worth fighting for, like actually defending this country. We dont even know the real reason for going there in the first place.

If there was a draft, I'd go. Wouldn't be thrilled about it, but I'd definitely go.

I'm hoping it will be another 40 years before we make the same mistakes as the Iraq War.

look up al qaeda and jihad on google and then youll understand. its truly amazing how many of the pelosi ites just dont get it. villifying bush will get you so far and then when the attacks resume in the us, ignoring them as clinton did for eight years will do no good. your question has no answer as your so called facts make no sense. now aplogize for being on mom and dads computer and sign off before you get spanked so the adults can talk...night night now....say your prayers.
