That would depend on where the scars are located. If they are in the central cornea, whatever visual impairment they may cause will not be remedied by lasik. If they are toward the periphery of the cornea, you may still be able to have a successful outcome. Talk with your eye doctor about your possible candidacy.

That is something that has to be evaulated by the lasik eye doctor. You need to go in and have the free consultation and they will tell you whether you can have it or not.

Most Laser eye centers provide free consultations for patients to determine whether they are good candidates for Lasik or not. I wouldn't trust anyone's opinion except for the Optometrist or Ophthamologist b/c they are the only ones who can assess the scars and provide u w/ the best advice and recommendations. Good Luck!

Is this from an injury to the corneas? As the eye doctor replaces the lens of the eye. It could work, but you would need to go in for a consultation. I know the eye surgery they do for patients who have to wear bifocals, is bascially the same lens replacement as for patients who have cataract surgery.
