My pug's social skills are the envy of the neighborhood. She is so calm around other dogs, even if they are aggressive or hyper. If she even reacts to another dog in the first place, she is always friendly. I live in the city so I was particularly looking for a breed that was good with unknown dogs and I could not have made a better choice than my pug. She's fantastic!

Seems pugs get along with most dogs. There are pug meet-ups popping up everywhere. They know that the pugs will get along with each other. Whereas in other breeds you don't see these meet-ups because you don't know if they will get along.

It is not a question of bread; it is a question of temperment. For example, we have adopted greyhounds and the rescue agencies we have worked with cat test, other breed test and child test to see if each dog is compatible. They usually indicate whether the dog you are interested in fills the ciriteria that you are looking for on the agencies' website. So, you could look on petfinder.com to see if you can find pug adoption agencies; they probably other breed test as well. Yet, if you have a pug and are looking to find out if he/ she is compatible with other breads ask your vets advice about how to test to see if your dog is compatible with other dog breads. Good luck and I hope you are successful with finding compatible dogs : )

Depends on personal;ity and socialization at a young age. If raised with other dogs, yes. If raised never seeing another canine, probably not.
