the jelly stuff was mucus that is in the digestive tract, it can be caused by a change in pet food or from eating something that didn't agree with him, when the digestive track gets irritated it produces more than the normal amounts of mucus to coat and protect the intestines.Keep an eye on your cat, if it keeps happening and you haven't changed his food, check to see he isn't sampling any of your house plants. If it continues for more than a few days call your vet and take in a stool sample to have tested.

Your cat may have worms. Have you changed her food recently? Sometimes that will give a cat the runs. If not, I would watch. The fact that she went on the floor is a sign that she is sick and is trying to tell you. It could also mean that she could not hold it. If you have not recently changed foods or anything, I would call a local vet and see if they think she needs to be seen. I would also keep an eye on her, especially when she goes to the litter box.

Be sure to get a sample for your vet tomorrow. Don't throw it away.
