Okay the good new is you like to eat every few hours....that isn't necessarily a bad thing but it depends on what you are eating every few hours. If you eat Taco Bell every three hours then you are going to be the size of the good year blimp. But if you are eating healthy foods(ie. fruits, vegetables, lean meats) in moderate portions then you will be fine. Eating six times a day is preferred but try not to eat after 6pm.
Basically what you are looking at here is a complete life change if you eat healthy and in moderate proportions and also implement an exercise routine into your life(ie.30 minutes on a treadmill at least 3 times per week). And if you slip up a couple of times and eat something bad don't let it stress you out. There is always tomorrow and try and keep your goals in mind. But make sure you set realistic ones. It might even help to put a picture of your body up on the fridge and then someone with a nice body next to it. Then once a month take another picture of your body so you can see the actual changes and see yourself getting closer and closer to your goal.
Even if you do eat something unhealthy just make sure you use portion control...that is very important. And if you remember anything from this remember that WILL POWER is the most important attribute you can have. Good luck to you and I hope you achieve your goals.

Food can be just as addictive as other things, so what you need to do (I don't know how old you are), you need to talk to a doctor. There are pills that can supress your appetite, it could be something as simple as you're bored so you eat. So if you pick up a sport, hobby etc. You also need to rewire the way you look, think, feel about food. Your brain, your system get so used to the routine of overeating that it doesn't know anything different. I know because I've been through it. A part of that (for me) was eating out and eating all the wrong foods, anytime, all the time, and when I finally said no more I had to (with the help of meds and my doctor) learn how to eat healthy again, and what portions are, I actually forgot all those things. So this is your first step, the next is to see your doctor and figure out the best way to reverse this addiction. You can do this

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I did this and lost 12 pounds and 19 inches in 9 days. I continued and lost 29 pounds in a month. I like the program since it works by giving your body nutrition through protein shakes with digestive enzymes and vitamins and then cleansing out the toxins. We get toxins in our bodies from pesticides, preservatives, water, pollution, medications, food additives etc…. These toxins enter our bodies and get stored in our fat cells. To shrink the fat, we need to get rid of the toxins through cleansing. The program also has a natural diet pill to help your metabolism and curb cravings. It works and it works fast. My skin has improved from the cleansing. It is pricey but worth it! I think cleansing is really important to health and weight loss. Call the toll free 1-877-587-4647 Give it a try and good luck! http://diet4cleansing.com

I'm glad to see you know you need serious help. You do indeed exhibit addictive behavior, and it may be complicated by something docs call 'syndrome x' or 'metabolic syndrome', a sort of metabolic need to boost your blood sugar. You need to see your doctor first, then a counsellor. You will need an enormous amount of support from you family and friends. DO NOT crash diet or use any over the counter diet pills; that is the fast track to making your weight go up, up, up.

you may need to see a counselor or someone to find out why you feel you NEED to eat all the time and thinking about it all the time. There could be something more to it than just your stomach telling you to eat. In the meantime, try eat "mini-meals" every couple hours or so that way you don't over eat. And make sure to keep them healthy (and mini!)! Also, i learned that often when my stomach says i'm hungry, i'm really just thirsty! drink a glass of water or juice, wait 5-10 minutes, and if you're still hungry, eat a few pretzels or something.

Most people get cranky when they are hungry, no need to let yourself get that hungry. Most people find pleasure in food, thats why we have ice cream, and chips, etc.
It sounds like you don't have much going on in your life but food.
You can change this. I recommend you go on a nutritous diet, where you are not deprived, but eat only healthy food and only at meal times. This will change your habits and your attitude about eating. I recommend you go get the Dr. Phil diet book. Not the psyco bable one, but the one with his actual diet and recipes, its a small paper back.
Good luck
