I'm 23, I have two kids (9 mons and 3yr old) I work 40 hours a week and I go to college full time. I'm drained. Anyone doing this now, or have advice on how to keep it up.

Sounds like you need a little "me time". You're gonna need to prioritize and try to cut back on you schedule a bit if you can. Otherwise, I would suggest trying to squeeze in as much time to yourself as possible, a weekly bath, a night out with girlfriends once a month, anything that helps you destress. Just remember, you won't be any good to anyone if you don't take care of yourself first. Stay strong sweetie, sounds like your doing everything you can to give your kids a good life. The world could use more role models like you.

Wow! First of all, let me say what a great inspiration you are for ALL women. I found college to be very demanding, and I did it before I was married and had any children! So, I really give you alot of credit. Although I can not relate to your situation, I think that if you just keep working towards your end result, that alone will keep you going! Don't worry about the little things- the house does not have to be perfect. And so what if you can't cook a homemade meal every day. As long as your children are happy and you are getting your studies done, it will be worth it in the end! Good luck!

I don't have two kids or go to school full time but I am a single mom working 9 hour days. I know what you mean by being wiped out, but you live for the weekends and whatever time you have to spend with your family. You'll get through it!

Just keep at it girl. Kudos for being such a responsible person and thinking about your childrens future. Since you work 40 hours I assume that you're full time and therefore should have some kind of benefits entilted to you. Try seeing if you qualify to take a paid vacation from your job.

Wow! You need help. You're going to have to cut down on something or die of exhaustion. Can you put the kids in day care? Many colleges have free or inexpensive day care for children of students. Or can you work part-time? Go to school part-time? There's no way you can keep this up. Good luck to you.

Well I am 21 and was ( last sem ) in college full time and working full time. ( I think you need to try to cut back on one of them) for at least a sem. ... that is what I did and it is helping sooo much!!! I know it is hard ( and I have only 1 child ) Just keep your eyes on the goal and it will all pay off in the end!!

I did that with a 16 month old and ended up in teh hospital. One person is not meant to cope with all of that alone. I've never been able to do half teh things since because I pushed myself too hard.
