last night i found out about bad news within my family. i have had awful chills all day and now i have a 101.3 fever. i am so cold and kinda shaky. could the bad news have caused this to happen? or am i sick? thanks

Stress can cause you to get sick. Drink plenty of fluids, take tylenol or advil and rest. Hope you feel better soon.

No. If you've got a fever, then you're sick. Sorry about your bad news.

you could be suffering from hypochondria, if you had symptoms before then you may be sick, but if they just started up, then yes, your body may be tricking itself into getting sick.

drink plenty of water and take Tylenol or Advil
