I am currently recovering from bulimia but I still will sometimes have relapses. Will taking a vitamin after I purge help replace a lot of the my lost nutrients and help prevent some of the help problems associated will bulimia and lost nutrients?

No. Multivitamins are simply supplements, not replacements for meals. Just because you take a multivitamin, doesn't mean that 100% of it will even be absorbed by your body. especially because of the purging (vomitting as well as laxative use). Everytime you purge, you lose important electrolytes, vitamins, and other nutrients. A multivitamin won't replace them.

I'm a recovered bulimic, I know how hard your struggle is. I wish you the best.

Taking a multi after a purge certainly won't hurt, but I don't think it can undo the physical damage purging causes.

It will help the nutrients, but will do nothing to address the electrolyte imbalance you are putting your body through. That is what kills.

no it wont because vitamins are not nutrients - protein, fats, carbs, dietary fiber etc.
