How can I get my hair straight without straightening it? I have very curly hair and it is very thick. I straighten it everyday and it takes forever! I was wondering if their was another way to straighten it or at least make it not as curly. Also I was thinking about getting it chemically relaxed. What does it do to your hair (side effects)? Any tips pr products I could use to make my hair straighter? Thank you! ♥

When my hair is curly it is shoulder length and when straight like 2 inches longer than shoulder length.

Chemicals will ruin you hair. Embrace your natural hair texture. It's the best way to keep it healthy. But if you really want to straighten your hair, I really don't think there's a easy way to do it. The easiest is chemicals. If you blow dry and flat iron your hair the maintenence is a pain. You could wrap your hair at night, this keeps it straight. If you wash it daily.......(Curly haired folks shouldn't) but if you do, again it's a process. No easy answers except moisturize and embrace your curls they are beatiful!

depending on how long you hair is, you didn't mention that. I also have very curly hair and it ids long, I wash and do whatever, make sure you put on some type of leave in conditioner and take you hair and put it into a ponytail at the top of you head, then wrap the rest of your hair around the pony tale start into a bun while is is still damp, not wet. Secure into top of your head and sleep with the bun, in the morning it should be dry and have and incredible straight wavy look.

There's no really easier way to keep your hair straight. When you relax your hair, it damages it causing split ends and dry, straw-looking hair after doing it so often.
You shouldn't straighten your hair everyday. Since your hair is "very thick" it won't look oily if you miss a wash. It's also healthy to wash your hair every other day so the natural oils in your hair can reach your ends.

Bio silk, silk straight. What I do is use a quarter size amount to wet hair on the ends and blow dry a little and while it is drying I twirl my hair around my fingers so it is still straight, not frizzy and has a little curl at the ends.

i don't think you do anything else but straighten it. maybe a quicker way is to flat iron your hair. its a lot faster. but your more likely to burn yourself. just a suggestion. good luck with that.
