You should not be concerned with the actual weight in pounds. You should be more concerned about what your body-fat percentage is.

If you're 135 and all muscle, then you're doing great!
If you're 135 and a size 16, then you might want to seek medical advise from a professional.

Exercise is the best diet out there, watch what you eat. For a woman a good body-fat percentage is about 16-25%. Below that you will cause problems.

Honey, I was bulimic myself! Since getting pregnant over 3 years ago I was able to stop and I've never gone back to the old habits and the heartache it caused day after day when I just couldn't break the cycle!! I remember many nights sitting beside the toilet bowl crying my eyes out and wanting to stop! EEIIIGGHH!! The way I look at it is.... no matter what you weigh now you are a 1 000 000% healthier than what you were when you were binging and purging! It wrecks your teeth and gums, can cause heart failure and other heart issues, sucks all the goodness from you body, dries out the skin....ahhh, and just depletes you body and that's not even half of what it does to your soul! 135 pounds for your height sounds PERFECT but who's counting! Throw away those God damn scales girl! You don't need them! Learn to love yourself and your curves, even the dipply parts (and yes, even Tyra Banks has them) because you are just beautiful the way you are! And don't forget, most men like their women to look curvy and womanly, not like a praying mantis...stick skinny! One last word of advice, don't overdo the exercise and let your bulimic addition become your workout addition, it's same problem just with a different face! Food for thought my lovely!

dropping weight at as quickly as is maximum regularly a demonstration of a few form of sickness. The healthiest diets propose you lose between 5 to 10 pounds a month, so dropping 6 pounds a week isn't precisely a great element to your immune device or your physique extra often than no longer. i might seek for suggestion from with a physician to make sure you haven't any intestinal ailments or in any different case, and likewise evaluate conversing with a physician some fit eating ordinary/meal plan.

Hi Elise.
Your weight is normal. You are not fat. If you work out and eat healthily, you will maintain the healthy weight you currently are! I was anorexic and last year only weighed 70lbs (I'm 5ft 8). I now have doubled in size and feel awful but I know I have to work out and eat healthy and not starve myself again. I nearly died last year and it's not the right thing for either of us to do. Hope you feel better knowing your not alone with your hang ups about weight. I'm sure mine will never totally go away but at least we can try and be healthy and hope never to become ill again. Hope this helps. Take care, Gem

Like previous posters have said, you are completely within healthy weight range for a woman your height.

If you feel bad about your body, maybe seeing a counselor will help you with body image?

Also, what sorts of working out do you do? Maybe adding in weight training, Pilates, etc, will help you to feel like your body is firmer, more toned, without thinking about weight loss.

Please, if you do feel yourself slipping back towards your eating disorder, get help. It's hard to deal with eating disorders, but we can do it!

You're at a healthy, normal weight according to your BMI. I know how hard it is to have an eating disorder. I'm anorexic but I think we share some of the same feelings. I'm always here if you need to talk.
