I don't know how much help I could be, but it's always nice to have somebody to get some feedback from. A good site is www.witchvox.com where you can locate others in your area who are of like mind. Meeting them is easier said than done. I've been on this particular path for almost 4 years and I've met very few. We're not the most outgoing bunch if you know what I mean. You can email me if you like. Blessings on your journey!

Merry Meet my friend. I just answered a question regarding trolls and clones. One thing I mention is that some people (like you) are looking for some genuine advice, not criticism from people who are totally ignorant on the subject, or think they know it all because they have scriptures to back it up. Seems like there ar quite a few witches and/or Wiccans who are open to you, and you can add me to that list. I have been a practicing witch for over 40 years and have met quite a few other solitary witches over the years. Have you decided on a path yet? There are many out there. I am a solitary Pecti-Witan (as we all are), aka Pictish. So if you are looking for information on rituals or worship I am afraid I would not be much help, since those particular items are not high on our list. Anyway, feel free to contact me if you like, and please, don't let the bible thumpers get to you, they are not worth the effort. Though to be honest the do really piss me off from time to time, thinking that they are better than anyone else. Sorry about the little rant!

Hello New Witch! Merry Meet. I would have to recommend www.witchvox.com

It is a great site with a huge information base. I have been pagan for 11 years and this site helped alot in the early years of my research, learning, and discovery!

May you never thirst

Sounds like you've gotten some really good site advice. Ignore the, let's see how to put this nicely, idiots. I'm not sure how much help I'll be but, e-mail me through my profile page, if you want. I know how helpful it can feel to talk to some one else, with the same beliefs.

You might check Yahoo Groups to see if there's a regional e-list for your area . . . I'm in a city of about 250K, and WE have one frequented by several open covens and groups.

Also, do a search on "Pagan Night Out" + your city. In many areas, local pagans have a monthly get together at a coffeeshop or bookstore.

Okay, brace yourself for all the scripture that will start spewing out of the bible-thumpers any second now.
Good luck with your studies!

Scratch that -- you don't accept messages. Feel free to message me via Yahoo Answers if you'd like to chat.

Watching reruns of "Bewitched" with Elizabeth Montgomery and Agnes Moorhead is an excellent way to learn the fluffy bunny approach to witchcraft. I highly recommend it, eat chips while You do and the salt crystals will enhance the powers You gain.
