Has anyone ever used Nair or any leg hair removal product? How does it work exactly and does it work? How long does the hair stay gone really? Does it sting or make your legs feel funky. I did the hair removal on my lip hair once and my lip felt so strange for a few days and it almost seemed red afterwards for a few days, does this happen with Nair as well?
PS If you read the lip part and said "That shouldnt have happened" can you also tell me what I might have done wrong, I think I would like to do that again, but am a bit scared that it shouldnt have felt like that.

LOL! I'm sorry for the confusion. I used a special lip hair remover cream, not Nair for my lip! Sorry about that, should have made it clearer!

You might have an allergic reaction to some hair removers, so you might want to be careful. I heard Nair works pretty well, but if you want to try it, make sure to test it on a small area of skin and wait a day, and if there isn't any irritation then go ahead.

I use Nair Pretty. It's for teenagers but it works the same way. It works by dissolving the hair below the root instead of getting rid of it by cutting it off like a razor would. It says it should last about a week but it lasts maybe 5 days for me. At first after I use it it feels kind of itchy but thats before i get in the shower to rinse it all off completely. You're supposed to make sure to rinse it throroughly when you're done because it is a chemical. The reason your lip felt weird was because you can't use regular Nair on your face, you need nair for sensitive parts or nair for the face, but it should work fine on the rest of your body. And it really does leave skin feeling pretty smooth.

I have used nair before. It works pretty well just like waxing it last a little longer to grow back and they do not grow back stubby. You're suppose to leave it for about 10 minutes of so then rinse of with warm water or a damp towel I recommend Veet it comes w/ a plastic like razor you can use instead of the damp towel. - Upper lip no more than 5 minutes since the skin is more sensitive. Try it in a small test area first you probably got an allergic reaction to the product.

was it hair removal cream for your face? your face is extra sensitive and you shouldn't use "body" products on your face.
i have used nair and i like it okay. my legs always feel super smooth after application and the hair does stay gone for a couple days longer than shaving i think but i don't have super hairy legs anyway and usually don't worry about it.

nair is ok... i really depends on the length && thickness of your hairs for how long it stays smooth && hairless... all you do is apply it on the designated area... for about 5 min. more than what the label says.... when done... take a off w/a damp cloth or w/water :]
p.s don't leave it on more than 30 minutes... side-effects can occur.
