Because creationism is mythology, not science.
I for one cannot imagine the lies, half-truths and misinformation they have in these places. Personally, I consider it child abuse if anyone takes a kid in there with the idea of "educating" them.
Here, take a look at the newest one;

Oh Sophie you really do have my pity did you know that?
You don't even know what the term "theory" means in scientific terms do you?
As I said, you have my pity...

Jweston,
If you disagree, then explain why. But you can't can you? You have opinion while I have facts and reality.
I believe that counts as "Gin".

Dave777,
You are correct, that is ridiculous. After all something that never existed cannot die.

I guess the most ridiculous thing I've heard is either that creation is somehow supported by science or that evolution is not supported by science. The next most ridiculous things are the "quote mining" or made up stories like "Darwin recanted on his death bed" (as if this would change what his work showed), or "My uncle's cousin had a pig/cow/horse bone C14 tested and it showed that is was a million years old". After these two, I think the most ridiculous are the obvious hoaxes like the human and dinosaur footprint along the Paluxy river or footprints of giants.

It's not child abuse. It is entertainment. I went to a regular museum when I was a kid, and it had a replica of the brontosaurus. We now know that this creature never existed. Was I abused? No, I was simply misinformed. Seeing the model of a brontosaurus really didn't have too big of an affect on me other then being entertained. I was also entertained by seeing Michael Jackson's Captain EO in 3D at Disney Land. Even that was not abuse (luckily Jacko was not present. lol).
I am much more concerned about the grown adults who believe in this garbage and are also driving and voting. Children at least have the chance to grow up and think for themselves. These grown adults have already failed the test and are now jeopardizing our personal safety by driving and voting.

Christians know they have no theoretical ground to stand on, and that's why they're trying to pass creationism off as a science. That's also why they are desperately trying to get America to believe the vast majority of the scientific community believes in creation while only a lunatic fringe believes in evolution...when in fact, the only "scientists" who believe in creation are the subversives the church has planted.
Christians, if you want to believe in intilluhjint duzzine, fine, but don't try to tell us or yourselves it's a science, because it's not, it never was, and it never will be.

No. People can't take evolution as fact. Considering it too is a theory, it would qualify as mythology, according to you. Just because you don't believe it doesn't mean it's not so. There is obviously scientific backing to Creation and the founders of the museum want to share it with the world. Should the evolution scientists be the only ones heard?

It is certainly an oxymoron. It is either creationist or science, but it cannot be both. by the very definition of the creationists their theory must be accepted on faith alone not facts. Science must be based on proven facts.
