Tzadiq... its about adaptibility and 'natural selection' of a certain species over others, because of its 'susceptibility' to change and evolution!

evolution is a phenomenon of all life forms, n not just 'ape to man'!

every life form has evolved into its present state! read darwin. thanks.

Very much like our decision to have children. Think of the story of Pinnocchio if you are familiar with it. The puppet master longed for fellowship, not just to create something he had every control over.
And just as we can have an influence over our children, we want them to love and obey us in return for their own good and safety. However, we know that children's actions can be disappointing and grievious. And that is only part of the pain.
We could send them to school someday, never to return if they were to encounter a gun-weilding, disgruntled youth. But most parents continue to send their children anyway, don't they?
If free will (or choice) were never part of our human nature, then we would not have the ability to know bad vs. good. So neither could exist. So in order to know what is good, we have bad to compare it to. It is etched into the conscience of every human, not that every human seeks good all the time. It is a universal set of values we share written on our hearts (or conscience) by God and cannot be attributed to any particular gene or adaptation.

I don't know why God created us, but I can speculate. I believe it was to watch us grow and learn. To give us a chance to discover the world around us.
Not that I am comparing humans to fish, but why do people have fish tanks? they like to see the fish interact, grow and make their surroundings their home. Perhaps for some companionship.

He created the Universe and all that is in it for his pleasure including all life.

He made us to worship Him.

Why did ape-like creatures evolve into humans?

How come dog like creatures didn't evolve into humanoids?

How come cat like creatures didn't evolve into humanoids?

How come reptilian like creatures didn't evolve into humanoids?

How come equestrian type creatures didn't evolve into humanoids?

If you believe ape-like creatures could evolve and develop languages why is it hard for you to believe a donkey or a snake talked?

I don't know. I'm not sure why He would want to deal with all the trouble He's caused Himself. I guess He wants us all with Him in Heaven.

Well, from a christian perspective:
The Christian definition of God is "Love". love naturally requires relationship. therefore, if love is the nature of God, then maybe God created us so that he could share his love with us, and we, in turn, would share our love with him. and so, the love relationship is established, which is natural with respect to God's nature. That's just my way of looking at it.
