i'm getting a white/beige pomerian and i'm just wondering how much i should pay for a shipping? i already paid her but i'm just wondering. i paid $1,000 shipping included. she is in texas and i'm in MA.

I hope the dog ewill arrive safely. these small dogs can have sugar drops and teh airlines don't do anythign about it.
i would never have a dog shipped it's not safe.
I wish you luck but I do know of a breeder in Virginia that sells her Poms for $350 and usually shipping for most dogs are about $250 so I would say you overpaid big time.

This is probably a scam. Especially if you paid with a credit card. Usually dogs that small are carry-ons. Airlines won't fly dogs if it gets too hot. I've flown 100# Bloodhounds from MI to CA and WA for $600 including an airline crate.

Shipping cost isn't only based on the weight of dog w/ crate, it is also based on the size of the crate.. How much space it uses up in the cargo area.. A huge crate with a little dog will cost far more than a little dog in a crate that is correct size for her.

My sister flew her dog, 45lbs., one way from Columbus, Ohio to Seattle, Washington. She paid about $1,500.
