No. Stop pulling his tail. They are very senstive of there tails. Declawing a cat is just like cutting off the ends of your fingers. In that there claws are the ends of there fingers. There are things that you can do to help your cat learn not to claw or scratch. There is one thing called soft paws that go onto there claws. You could look them up on line or ask your vet about them.

1. YOU GO CAT!
2. You're an asshole
3. Even thinking about declawing proves how much of an asshole you are.
You deserve to be scratched, stop pulling his tail, and maybe you'll be able to form a relationship with your cat.

Well, I'd recommend not pulling the tail in the first place. Their tails are sensitive and so are their noses. It hurts and annoys them at the same time, so it scratches you to stop you. I'm guessing that it doesn't meow instead because you do it often, so it figures clawing is the only way to end it. Oh, and don't bother de-clawing your cat. It's a natural part of their body and, if it comes in contact with other cats, its useful in a fight. If your hellbent on de-clawing your cat, don't get soft paws or any other of those blue-rubbery pieces of crap to put on your cats claws. They don't work and they pull at it's claws, harming it. Just get it de-clawed instead. After all, my cat's front paws are de-clawed, but the back ones aren't.( He's an indoor cat)

NO. first, stop pulling his tail. no cats like their tails pulled. second, when u declaw a cat u take away all their defences. if he ever goes outside, he cant climb a tree to get away from a mean dog or child. and when u declaw a cat it can possibly lead to infection if not done right and can cause the cats leg to be amputated. i ve seen it. its awful.

Declawing a cat is like someone taking your fingers and removing the tips to the first knuckle. Frankly? Declawing should be illegal. I would suggest not pulling his tail, as well. *winks*

So you intentionally hurt a cat by pulling it's tail. You want to punish him because he's letting you know that hurts by declawing him. Wow, and I though "he scratched my rug" was a poor excuse for declawing.
Maybe you just shouldn't have a cat.

No but seriously...declawing a cat is the equivalent of cutting off our fingers at the knuckle...ouch! It can cause severe nerve damage over years :(

WHY ON EARTH DO YOU HAVE THE SAME QUESTION POSTED FROM A FEW MONTHS AGO?? don't you have enough sense to revolve this or do you like the attention of looking like an idiot????
pulling it's tail hurts the cat. that's why all animals don'tlike it when you pull their tails. Its like pulling on an arm with sensitive skin near the tosh area.

omg! why do you pull the tail anyways? It really hurts them! think of it as someone pulling your hair. dont get it declawed especially if its an outdoor cat. it needs defense.
