After he won the 1997 Masters, he hugged his mum and dad, but had no girlfriend. I was surprised that he had no girlfriend at the time, given that he was already a multi-millionaire(Endorsements and tournament winnings).
I knew he was good friends with Mark O'Meara and that they practiced together, and I remembered the way they hugged eachother and looked at eachother at the end of the 1997 Pebble beach pro am tournament, earlier in the year, which O'Meara won by one shot from his "friend" and "practice partner" Tiger Woods.
So I started to speculate about Tigers true sexual orientation.

That one TV event must have been the only time you've ever seen Tiger wasn't it?
If not, and you've done some research, or have even watched other events in which he's both played and won (BEFORE his Father, Earl Woods, passed away), you'd know that Tiger has always indicated that he was extremely close to his father...and his mother for that matter!
Plus, his father was one of his original coaches and even when Tiger was under the wing of Butch Harmon, Tiger still took advice about all aspects of his game from his father.
A relationship that strong, especially since early, early childhood, builds a bond between a son and his father that 'hugging' should'nt be considered 'un-natural'.
Matter of fact, before Tiger met his current wife, "Elin", he did date someone else, however I'm not sure if that specific relationship predated his Masters win or not...and I believe his previous girlfriends name was something along the lines of 'Goddard' or something close to that, as I recall reading about it some time ago and was intrigued that the word "God" appeared in his girlfriends name! ;-)

Just because your gay doesn't mean the rest of the world is. Tiger was young and spent a lot of time on the course so he didn't have much time for a social life. A hug doesn't make you gay, if he had layed a big french kiss that would be something else. You really need to get a clue.

A lot of men are single regardless of wealth status. I never thought Tiger Woods was ever gay. It is actually refreshing that athletes are close to their parents instead of many it seems are products of broken homes. Why do you think many professional athletes are always afoul of the law?
Just because a young man doens't have his bitches on hand when the cameras are on him doesn't make a man gay.

Um.. who cares? Even if he was gay, he was/is a great golfer, and that's all that amtters. As far a him not having a gf, well if you were in his shoes you would probably have thousands of girls flocking to you. Maybe he wanted to weed out the Golddiggers from someone who would really love him for him. That's why he married someone that didn't need his money.
