I mean, if a Mexican, a Canadian, a Phillippino, whatever, comes here, joins a service, goes to war, and offers up their life for the United States, why would we not acknowledge their offer and loyalty, and give them citizenship if they want it? Really I think they've proven their love for our country by doing that, and it is negative, hateful, and ungrateful for anyone to tell them "Sure, you offered your life for our country, now go home, you can't stay here anymore."

And, to Ms. L.A. Are you French? I'm not French, and did not mention other countries. I was speaking of the USA.. And I'd rather think like GW than like you anyday of the week, even though his words get confused.
Who ever said Iraqui insurgents who turn to our side are fighting???? They are sitting in cushy offices giving away secrets. NO we don't give someone who did not voluntarily join our military and do what all others who are TRUE Americans (other than people like you) are doing, through the correct courses, then why not give something back to them?
You've totally missed the point.
