That car is an antique classic, now. Anything that you do to it that is not OEM (factory) is going to cause it to depreciate. Keep it stock.

I recently acquired a 1963 Falcon Sprint which was a V8 and originally had 5 lug 13 inch wheels. It had ugly chrome aftermarket wheels on it which have since went to the scrapyard. Finding original 5 hole 13 inch wheels was nearly impossible so I put 5 hole 14 inch wheels on it from a 1965-66 Mustang which can be found almost anywhere. The car now looks entirely stock which is the way I want it.

Maintenance used to be cheap on the older cars, but now they use it as a excuse to raise the price.. Oil changes should be the same, a tuneup just consists of plugs, points, condenser, rotor, setting them and checking the timing.. a competent mechanic can do it in a hour, so what ever the rate is plus parts.. It shouldn't be more than $100 to $200, unless you need more, like carb rebuild., those were the simple days, no computers ! you can always learn to do it your self, lots of books available..

I also have a '63 Falcon Futura Convertible. See it here:

The real question that needs to be asked is: do you have 4 lug or 5 lug? 4 lug for the 6cyl and 5 lug for the 8cyl. If you have 4 lug 13", you could buy some 4 lug to 5 lug adaptors. As for finding decent 4 lug wheels, it isn't gonna happen. I tried. Check out this link:

personaly i like the 15" cuz it looks nice and u still have some meat on them wheels. i have 15" cragers on my 67 cougar and it looks mean. but if 14" is the biggest u want to go i think might still look good. i also have some 15" A R wheels on my 70 mustang and that looks pretty good too.
