I was surprised when you said Frontline was not for Pregnant dogs. I have been using it for years. Then I went to their web site and read the instructions on the Frontline. It says not to use it without consulting your vet first. So if your dog is in very good health and she needs the flea and tick treatment then give your vet a call and see which one they would recommend you use.

That's Frontline spot-on. If you get the Frontline spray, that's fine for use on pregnant animals, it can also be used on pups from 2 days of age.

Go to your vet for advice if you're not convinced. Just don't use anything from a shop!

I use Pert with the conditioner (the off brand). It has a high ph to it and I have never had any fleas. By the way, my dog is 12yrs. old.
Hope this helps.
