i got invited by my grandma to go to mexico, and my mom is infuriated. i know shes worried and under alot of stress anyway but im 17- and i love to travel- why cant she just let me go!!?!?! i dont know if i should go or not..

yeah- she doesnt really trust my grandma and she feels like she was " backed into a wall- having to make a quik desicion" and all that crap. all she does is worry.

Convince ur mommy that u can take care of urself now..have a serious talk with her,thn she'll understand.Have fun in mexico

This is an opportunity that doesn't often come around. You should go to Mexico with your Grandma and enjoy yourself. If your Mom is upset because you were invited to go to Mexico instead of her, she needs to discuss it with your Grandma and not you. Your mother should be happy for you instead of making you feel guilty about wanting to go. Your mom is a big girl and will get over it. Go to Mexico and enjoy yourself! You deserve it.

First of all, why doesn't your mom trust your grandma? Maybe there is good reason for her concern. Talk to mom and respect what she says. She is your mom. You are only 17. You can do what you want the rest of your life. Don't ruin you relationship with your mom for a trip to a "dirty filthy" country.

u shud go but proobably convince ur mother b4 that .. u dun want her to be worryin sick about you while u r happily vacationing ... promise to call her everyda and stuff like that ... mabbe she doesnt trust ur grandma .. is that the case ???

I only spent one day there, what a filthy toilet it is--do not go, and I travel a lot.
