I am 5'2 and 125 pounds. I would like to lose 15-20 pounds in two months. I'm good with eating and have only been eating fruits, meats, vegtables and whole grains since i started trying to reach my goal. But, how much do i need to work out? How much cardio do I need to do daily? And do I have to lift three times a week?

I would say go for a jog every morning, about 30 minutes...do abdominal exercises, like crunches, sit ups, and leg raises. Also, try jumping jacks. Cut your calories down. the whole purpose of dieting is to burn more calories than you eat to lose weight. Your beautiful the way you are, and don't need to lose weight, but if you arn't comfortable about your body, then 110 would be a reasonable goal, don't go any lower than that;) Good luck!

Hey. I'm also 14 and I weighted 130 pounds. I've started dieting 2 weeks ago. The only thing I do is avoid sugar, bread (even whole wheat ones cuz they turn into sugar in your system), and any processed food in a pack. I'm not really a fan of exercising, but I really think I should be active. I've lost 10 pounds since 2 weeks ago without exercise, and I believe I could've lost more if I did. Just do 60 sit ups then walk/jog around the neighborhood for an hour. I have a bad habit of eating when I'm bored. Since I'm in a diet, I eat fruits and a salad instead of chips. I put small chunks of meat in my salads. Mostly crab meat. My diet, btw, is called a fruit diet. It's helpful in detoxifying my system. See, when you eat a lot, you can't give your body enough time to break down the food. So it just piles up and turn into fat. But fruits help push the food down your digestive system. What I like best about it is you can eat any amount of fruits! Another thing, never starve yourself. When you starve yourself, your body thinks your dying and reacts by storing your fat. So really, you're going to gain more from starving. Ironic.

It is a lot harder when you aren't overweight--to lose that last 5-10 lbs. Which is probably all you can lose. I doubt your body would handle 105.

But roughly an hour of cardio a day. To speed your metabolism make sure you are eating 6 times a day.

Hello
You need to work out 3-4 times per week. 45 minutes of cardio each time.
Weights will increase your weight loss.
Good luck.
