What could cause pain that starts in the back, (around the area of the left shoulder blade), and radiates through to the front of your body? Are these symptoms of an illness or disorder? Help!?!?!

There are a number of things that can cause this: pinched nerve, muscle spasm, or heart problems. If the problem is caused by muscles or a pinched nerve, you should notice that the pain is worse when you move a certain way or press on a certain area. If you do not have this type of pain response, and you are at an age where heart problems might occur, it would be a good idea to go straight to the ER to make sure this isn't a heart problem.

Chiropractors can help clear up muscle and pinched nerve problems.

Probably a muscle spasm, but could be many things. Depending on your age, general health, smoking, etc. Too many options without an examination.

If it persists, seek medical attention.

But, probably a muscle spasm. That your vitamins.

Just checked your profile. Your religion will complicate things some.

Eat more green vegetables and balance them with milk products to get the required calcium and potassium to avoid the muscle spasms.

You are young so the chance of heart disease is remote. Pinched nerve is still possible if you did some kind of unusual activity.

Good luck.
