I don't hate that character; I just realize it's made up.
There are thousands of gods; the only one (three?) you think is real is the one your parents told you was real. coincidence?
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

You are asking the wrong question. Hate is a matter of how one is raised. "You've got to be taught to hate and fear ... "
But the question of Jesus is one of how we respond to the possibility of "revelation" in our own lives. Some people, sad to say, are just not disposed to believing, and that also has an environment issue in it, but it is really not all that important.
