Go back to the doctor and have your meds re-evaluated. You may be on the wrong type of meds or you may even have been mis-diagnosed.

I'm going through the same thing. I've had major depression for a year and a half and I've gone to therapy and I'm on lexapro. I was in the hospital all weekend because I was very suicidal. Come to find out they said I should only be on a 10g rather than a 20g becuase it can cause increased anxiety and suicidal thinking. I also have to start seeing a psychologist soon.
Don't have free time on your hands to think. Always be planning something for you to look forward to every week. Please go to your doctor asap for help. I truly believe this medication can screw us up more or help. It's all about finding the right meds. But don't forget about all the people you will affect if you kill yourself. And life is a rollercoaster of ups and downs so just wait for the ups.

I have been suffering from post partum depression for the past one year when I gave birth to a baby boy. I couldn't stop thinking about how my husband loves him more than me and how things might be better if he wasn't born at all. Thus, I stayed away from him because I knew that I might do something I will regret for the rest of my life.
Almost instantly I went to a therapist and convince them that I need help. Among other things, I've tried herbal supplements and other book to treat depression but nothing works like the Depression Free Method. So now I'm proud to say I'm one of the happiest mother in the world. My husband loves us both very much and I thank the Lord for the blessing he gave us.

Remember...You have no control over what you think or feel...but you do have control over how you act and re-act to your thoughts and feelings. The first thing you did right was tell on yourself. Don't let those thoughts run around in your head, talk them out. Most people have had "thoughts" of suicide at one time or another. They are just that "thoughts"... Please keep your head up and try looking at the "good" things more than the "bad"... You are important to somebody and suicide is selfish and cowardly. Be a survivor- stay strong and then find someone else you can share your experience with. What you learn from this may help another suffering soul. I speak from experience. I have been both suicidal and also lost loved ones and friends to suicide. I will carry you in my thoughts...

As someone else said I also have a fear of Hell. You don't know for sure what awaits you in the afterlife and what if it worse than here and you cannot kill yourself to get out of it then. Or what if you have to come back and re do this life again. The options are just too risky, to me anyways.

are you in intensive therapy? My suididal thoughts always seem to go away when I talk to someone about them or I tell someone about the intensity of my emotions. Your medication might not have kicked in and/or its the wrong medication. You have to be honest with your doc and how you are feeling. Its always best when someone understands how you feel and can help you get through this.

Are you working, or do you have a hobby? If not, you need to get busy, busy, busy. Make yourself get out of the bed and get busy if it's cleaning the house. Trust me on this. Idle time is not good for anybody and will keep anybody depressed.

You have got to believe in yourself
You are a smart bright person other wise you would have not went to see specialist or went on this format to ask for help
This world is yours for the taking, God has a reason for you to be on this planet. You will be a miracle to someone

for my section, I merely think of it fairly is greater media-oriented, suicide/melancholy/and so on. merely because of the fact it fairly is grow to be so a lot greater open/much less stressful to communicate approximately. i'm surely no longer asserting it would not exist, I be afflicted by it besides, yet i think of it fairly is greater or much less a typical portion of existence. i might desire to verify the place your opinion comes from being LGBT & suicide rates being larger, because of the fact they are in many cases greater ridiculed in social standards. i assume it fairly relies upon on your heritage, dad and mom, region, gender, and so on. And, such as you, exceedingly much, or all, of my LGBT have had suicidal themes from melancholy to committing. additionally like I already reported, i think of it fairly is the way they are considered + media + merely the way your ideas is chemically under pressure out. it fairly is merely greater the norm in recent times you are able to desire to assert.
