As you must know human food is not good for your dog. So get a good brand of dog food, put it down and I assure you when she get hungry enough, she will eat the dog food.

I've had this problem a few times in the past with some of the dogs we've rescued I've found that best way to do this is as follows
Day 1 . mix 25% dog food with her normal human food
Day 2 Increase it to 50%
Day 3 Increase it to 75%
Day 4 Increaseit to 100%
On the first day put the food down at the normal time with fresh water. leave it down for 30 minutes. if the dog doesn't take it then take it away. Do the same again 2 hours later.
If it's still not eaten take it away again and try 2 Hours later.
If the dog still doesn't eat thake the food away and cover it up.
The next morning put the food dowm and start again.
The longest I've had a healthy dog go before it eats the food is midday on the 2nd day.
You do need to be strong and not be tempted to feed the dog treats.

That was so horrible for the other owners to do that! anyway, i would mix p-nut butter with dog food. If she rejects that, then use wet food, cuz it tends to taste more like "human food" to dogs. Hopefully she will eat that. After about 3 days, mix 1/3 dry food, with 2/3 wet food...then after about a week, try 2/3 dry food, and 1/3 wet food. Slowly edge ur dog onto dry food. That should help!!! good luck!

You may have to give her a mix for a while. Try putting some boiled chicken in with her dog food (half and half or so). Mix it up, so she'll get used to the dog food flavor while she is going after the chicken.
Continue to do this with various foods...chicken, turkey, hamburger...whatever you're having for dinner. Each day, mix a little less human food into it, until she's completely weaned from it.

Good luck..... We had a Chihuahua whose breeder also ran a daycare. We got him at 4 months. He would starve rather than eat dog food. I ever tried disguising it with a cheese sauce. he spit it out.
Years later I had gotten a particular dog food for another dog and strangely the chihuahua decided he liked it. I don't know if you can buy it everywhere. But it was Bil Jac. I tried him on the fresh frozen Bil Jac and would not eat it. But the kibble he liked.

One way is to add some meat into the food and stir it up really well, if that doesn't work you can try to soak the food in warm water for about 10 minutes before giving your dog the food.
Good Luck

Ok, here's what you do. Put water in the dog food and mix it around so its like thick pudding. Then, pretend to eat it when your dog is beside you. Make sure it sees. Then, offer your dog some. Do this every day until your dog gets used to it. GL.

i think the best thing to do is buy a bag of your preffered dog food.....then mix a little bit with human food that she likes to eat....then every week or so start mixing more & more dog food until she is eating nothing but dog food.
