I cannot believe all the rude and uncalled for answers.
Actually it is ok. As long as you keep the cheese in moderation, have only lean meats, and load it with veggies, pizza is actually ok with you. Also thin crust is a bonus
also to add
Papa Murphy's Pizza is a fine example of a company that has listened to the customer and now offers a diet recipe on its pizza menu. Aware that many people are on a low-carb diet and weight loss program, Papa Murphy's has adjusted their pizza dough recipe accordingly. The result is their deLITE line of pizzas, where a slice of pepperoni will cost you only 160 calories. Mindful of the millions of Americans on a low carbohydrate diet, Papa Murphy's has cut back on the crust while preserving the flavor. Even the Papa Murphy's equivalent of the big sausage pizza, which they call the Meat DeLITE, has just 190 calories.

I don't know wether this is a serious question. If you are on a "Real" diet then you have to count the calories you eat and reduce them. Pizza is very high in calories without being filling. I am no expert but try to think of less fatty foods- vegs, chicken, pasta(no cheese) rice, baked potato. don't eat pizza except as a treat once a month or something. loosing weight safely is a slow process. It is not a quick fix...Good luck.

I eat an extremely healthy food plan and sometimes I have pizza. I have found its best to make my own. I make sure to get a thin crust, use lots of veggies, use meats that are lean, and use low fat cheeses. I eat a balanced menu everyday. The only things I never eat are French Fry's and chips! Don't listen to these people who say its cheating its not.......

I am not a "no carb" person because its not realistic to live your entire life that way.

That depends-- Are you physically able to lift a slice of pizza, put it in your mouth, chew and repeat until finished?

I have never "dieted" in my life. "Diet", as in the pop culuture definition, is a four letter word. When I ate cheese, I would take a napkin or paper towel (usually several) and blot until it came out clean. The thought of that grease going into my system disgusted me. (Then I leared about cheese, and that really disgusted me.) Now, on the rare occasions I have pizza, it's veggie with no cheese. Usually, though, I'm just as content with whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce and steamed veggies.

My husband and I now make pizza at home, following some bad experiences with Little Ceaser's. I emailed the company and never received a reply. I guess they weren't interested when I told them that they would no longer be recieving our business. Not only is home made pizza cheaper, but I can make it my way. My husband starts with a pizza crust mix, which is white flour, but adds plenty of whole wheat. With it, we have some oven toasted whole wheat garlic bread (made with Smart Balance in lieu of butter or margarine).

Anyway, everything in moderation. If you want pizza, go for it. I just reccomend that you don't do it freqently or in large quantities.

Restrict your serving to 1 slice if possible, 2 at most. Get the thinnest crust you can find. Ask for 1/2 cheese but you can have lots of veggies-no meat (pizza meats are the worst!). By allowing yourself some treats, you won't feel so deprived and then binge. Good luck.

you sure can. just keep it in perpective, have some salad with it, dont go nuts and eat half a pizza, go for thin base over thick base, less cheese the better, pick off some of the bacon etc and share it with a friend.

better still if possible just make your own home made pizza add your own stuff and you can get away with a lot more peices..

Go for a walk the same day.. if possible.

goodluck, sorry youve got a lot of dickheads answering your questions..

I do weight watcher and theoretically you can eat pizza everyday if you want...someone who ways like 170 has 22 pts for the day. and a piece of pizza is about 4 or 5 pts. sooo if you eat two pieces that are 5 pts each....you've eaten 10 pts and that leaves you with 12 more points for the day....complicated i know but thats the advice i got...you should do weight watchers it works :)
