If so many Protestants say that Catholics aren't Christians is Christianity still the world's largest religion? They'd drop down to a little over one billion if you don't count the billion Catholics. that would make Islam the world's biggest religion with Catholics second and then the Christians..

Remember Catholics or Protestants or whatever so they are common Christians who worship Jesus Christ!

And definitely,Christianity is the biggest religion recently with about over 2.1 billion!

As far as I know, no one has ever lumped Catholics and Protestants together for one over arching "christian" denomination.

All Protestant denominations together don't number as many as the Catholics.

Catholics were formerly the largest religion with 1.1 billion adherents. Muslims now out number us with 1.2 billion adherents.
