Do you think that you might be getting some trace elements that your body craves? Just a thought.
Might want to investigate what minerals and or vitamins are in the bark. Interrrressstiinnnggg.

Your stomach cannot digest cellulose. The wood you are eating is not going to be digested. I do not know how that will affect your health. I am guessing that eating too much of something that cannot be digested it probably not too good for you. You are probably getting chemicals out of the wood, though. However, it is the actual wood that cannot be digested. You are not a termite.

Not really, I mean useless your doctor said to get as much fiber as possible than go ahead, but I don't think so.
