Having a few problems with an airbrush - Do I need a air regulator to use an airbrush (using a pancake compressor)?

yes you need a regulater to get down to 8 to 12 p.s.i.to much pressure without one.

I have an airbrush, its an old humbro, its about 20yrs old, i use to have to buy cans of compressed air for it, its not in use much now that I have outgrown my custom bike era, but I adapted it to be used using a truck inner tube for a air reservoir,
