If you can, tell me how you did it.
If you can't, then how do you expect me to choose to believe in God?

Hey, Ray: So I would need to immerse myself in Christian culture and then as my mind grows weaker I'll start to believe?

I'm not sure I follow your logic, but have you ever heard of Kimchi? It's a Korean food. It is cabbage and other veggies that are buried for a period of time until they rot and then eaten. I can't even stand the smell of it, but there are plenty of people who enjoy it.

Food is made by others. God was made by nobody. If we had all the answers, we would be God. We are still learning. He is the creator of the universe.....you are going to have questions for Him. Just like a baby asks questions about the world around him/her, we should go to God and ask Him about living life in Him and about the world around us. There is no way we could figure God out in a few Q&A sessions, but Christ is the way to the Father. Through Him we can and will continue to grow and learn.......peace.
Seek the Lord.....

How could you possibly compare God to disgusting food?
How is it SO bad believing in God? What horrible thing has happened to you? When I converted, my life just got better and better.

Ah but there you are wrong! God is ALL GOOD! Until you actually "taste" of His salvation then you will know the goodness of Him.
Until then, the truth will always be a stench to you- because pride is in the way.
When one does not know God, they can say anything--- but when one actually KNOWS God, they can only say how wonderful He is- and how there is nothing better than the gospel of His salvation!

You just need to gargle some holy moley and wash the taste of Satan out of your mouth. You are trying to eat brownies after drinking OJ.

They're missing the point, Meatbot. It would be dishonest to believe in something you know in your heart isn't true. No, belief isn't a choice. Faith is a lie, always has been.
You're throwing pearls before swine.

Hey,
I used to loath parsnips and potatoes.
Until of course, I went to a summer camp, and they usually had PARSNIPS and POTATOES with dinner. Yeuch.
Had to eat it for three weeks. Funny thing is, now I can't get enough potatoes! Arrgh!
Anyways, its up to you if you want to believe in God.
Just please don't become a Muslim, just look what they've done now:

We're sick of catering to them.

watercrest (so bitter). repeated exposure to its taste. as one gets older, tastebuds get duller. the law of dimminishment (psychology) will make something less extreme when exposed to it repeatedly.

I normally don't respond to such stupid questions, but this has nothing to do with anything. Do me a favor, don't believe in God so I don't have to spend eternity with you.
