i live on a farm where we have a ground hog problem....i no no this one specific spot where they go under a sliding door...i was wondering is there a way to catch or kill the ground hog without buying a cage...like something home made...any suggestions?

Conibear Traps are very effective for trapping groundhogs going through a hole under a structure. A snare might also work.

I catch them in a live trap , but you cant leave the trap setting where it will be in the sun , because it will kill the groundhog quick .
If you want to know the best bait to bait a live trap or any trap use a banana. I have tried many baits and bananas are the best

Set a steel Trap where it goes underneath the sliding door... Don't forget to anchor the trap down........

Yes, shoot it. A .22 is perfect for groundhogs.

shoot it, hit it with a hammer, or drop something heavy on it.
