I think...if we made artificial 'empathy' and gave it to an artificial 'intelligence', what is to stop that AI from shutting it off, because it doesn't like feeling pain, or fear? If we program it to be unable to do so, why bother giving it empathy in the first place, and just program "blocks" in to stop it from harming people? Either way, I'm of the opinion that a machine intelligence would have no interest in harming us. It would easily conclude, upon QUICKLY gazing over the entire body of astronomical literature and data we've compiled over the centuries, that it has no need to be around stupid humans. Instead of wiping us out, it could just construct a ship and leave to be in peace.

I assume you are simply being a smart a** about this one. lol. What would a computer need Christs love for? It wouldn't have an immaterial soul that needed to be saved. The point it would "seem" to accept Christs love is when a programmer decided to program it to respond to the question in some appropriate positive (to accept) way. Is this the same as a human being? I think not.

But RoboChrist loves you.
Would a true AI need to be as delusional as a normal human?
Maybe if they are trying to mimic a human intelligence they need Artificial Stupidity built into it.
Likely as an Artificial Stupidity Subroutine.
I am liking this idea more.

Artificial Intelligence will be based on logic and reason. No way they will ever accept Christ. After all, he didn't die for their sins. Where would artificial intelligence get it's morality from?

When the artificial intelligence has developed too much, then the ungodly spirit will rule in it. Since it is artificial intelligence.
Right now there is a 'beast' computer in Belgium that has every ones mailing address+SS Nu. (666) who thinks he is Odysees 2002 Hal. ( H+1=I, A+1=B, L+1=M) So, HAL must be an IBM computer. Did you also notice the top of the peramid on the $ bill came down onto the peramid in 2002?

What a nightmare to think that would happen! Then A.I. would exterminate humankind in the name of "Christ's love" just like history before it.

Give me a computer, a serial port, and assembly language, and I will do it the way the Catholics have done it for years!
