I would say 2 years-old is the best time to start potty training, or when they are walking on their own.

We bought a little potty and set it in the bathroom when he turned two. He didn't use it, but we wanted him to get used to seeing it for a couple of months. When he got curious about it, we let him try to use it. He was potty trained by 2 1/2 with the help of a sticker chart and some prizes! Good luck. Every child is different.

Right after my daughter turned 2 she would tell me she needed to potty. before that we would try with little sucess no matter what i did. Then one day she just decided to be a big girl all by herself. We still have accidents. This is still new but she can go most of the day in panties if we aren't running around without a potty near by.

That depends on the child, but between 2 and 3 is average. Some kids show an interest and ability much earlier, some don't really get it 'full time' until 4.

I started potty-training with all three of my children, regardless of their gender, at about one year old. My daughter was the easiest to potty-train, but all three were completely free of any-type of diapers or pull-ups by 2 years old.

Between 2 and 3. Girls tend to start on the earlier end and boys a bit later.

at least by 18 months if they show any interest at all. By 2 at the latest. If you wait till 2 1/2 or 3 you will have problems.
