Aren't those the only ways to avoid hell--slaughter livestock in the B.C. time, and worship Jesus in the A.D. time? I would think the neanderthals and early people might be too slow to understand Judaism and Christianity.

In Paleolithic times, the concepts of Christianity or Judaism or just about any religion at that time did NOT exist. Theoretically, yes they would, but they haven't established the concept of hell until a few thousand years BCE. The earliest forms of "religion" was polytheism (religions having more than one god) in which they worshipped gods of fertility, nature, harvest etc.

If you've never even heard of Jesus or God you will be allowed into heaven.

But if you've made the mistake of hearing the story of Jesus, you are now obligated to believe the story and follow it's rules and regulations or face an eternity burning in hell.

So, with that said and seeing that cavemen were long gone by the time of Jesus Christ, they would get a free pass to heaven.

Everybody went to She ohl in those days. Good guys, bad guys, so a logical person would conclude that She ohl and later Hades is not a place of torment but a symbol of the grave of humankind. The End.

Define cavemen.Your talking in long earth age terms. It's already been determined that there weren't those guys like you see in Hollywood movies.Plenty of people lived in caves in biblical times. We didn't come from monkeys or apes. We're not there closest ancestor.
You're taking the Geico commercials way too seriously.Guess you've bought into that evolution thing hook, line, and sinker.

From what I learned growing up, all humans who died will be resurrected and have the opportunity to stand before God and decide what path they will take, regardless of what religion they were exposed to while on Earth.

I think, as long as they were nice to their fellow cavemen, they should be safe out of hell.
